This course offers a theological, philosophical, and practical introduction to Christian apologetics. Designed for upper-level undergraduates, it explores how reasoned faith defends the truth of the Gospel in both historical and contemporary contexts. Students will engage with Scripture, classic arguments, and modern cultural challenges, learning to articulate and defend the Christian worldview with clarity, humility, and courage.
The course emphasizes apologetics as a vital ministry of the Church—rooted in the character of Christ, animated by the Spirit, and responsive to the questions of the world. Through biblical reflection, personal narrative, and exposure to leading apologists, students are equipped to understand and practice apologetics in a variety of ministry settings.
